File Requirements for Upload

If you are uploading your own print ready files please observe these guideline minimums for best results:

1. Submit a .jpg at 300 dpi. and at the exact size of the banner you are ordering, Use no bleeds. For a 2X4 banner this would mean setting your file size to 24"X48" and a resolution of 300 dpi. Use a quality setting of 12 for your .jpg compression.

2. Caution: Whatever the file size/dimensions you submit to us we resize that file to the size of the banner you are ordering. Giving us a 6" by 12" 70dpi. picture from your website and wanting us to make a 5' by 10' banner will result in very bad image quality.

3. Your banner will most likely not look the same as it does on your computer screen, monitors are backlit, giving a false impression of high contrast that will not completely transfer to your printed banner. Use only high contrast combinations to increase your sign's visibility. Good examples include: Black letters on white background, black or dark red letters on a bright yellow background, white on black, white on dark green, dark red on white. The combinations are endless, just remember, ask yourself will this color combination present with high contrast in the real world, not how does it look on my monitor. Customers frequently make the mistake of using poor contrast combinations such as purple letters a on black background, or the worst of all, yellow letters on a white background.
